Biofilm Week 2022 taking place from 18-24 November #BiofilmWeek, hosted and organised by the National Biofilms Innovation Centre (NBIC), will take place between 18-24 November 2022 to coincide with World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) which NBIC hopes will highlight the relationship between Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and biofilms. #BiofilmWeek aims to promote the economic and physical impact that biofilms have on our world, as well as highlight research taking place to prevent, detect, manage and engineer biofilms. Our first ever biofilm awareness week took place in August 2021 and is part of our wider #BiofilmAware campaign, which is all about helping people to understand what biofilms are and why biofilms are so important, whilst at the same time raising awareness related research.
